In keeping with the theme of Choosing the Good Life let us give further consideration to Micah’s description as provided in scripture:

    “No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what He requires     of you: to do what is right…”—Micah 6:8

As many of us know through personal experience life can be very complicated and doing what is right can sometimes present unanticipated challenges.  The right choice may not always be the easiest or most popular course of action in our moral, ethical, or practical conduct but it is always the wisest choice.  As Christians, God has given us a guidebook with clear instructions to lead us to right choices in our daily decisions and activities:

 It has been said that criticism and praise are similar, in that we probably all receive more than we deserve or earn in the course of our lifetime.  Human nature is such that we have little difficulty accepting and enjoying lavish praise, but we often reject and even resent the slightest hint of criticism.  Nevertheless, criticism is inevitable in this life, and we need to be prepared to deal with it in a healthy manner.
